The figures below come from Fields’ partner pricing overview (UK). We show them as from amounts — the lab’s written quote after diagnostic is what counts. Every job includes a free in-lab diagnostic, a recoverable file list, and a no-obligation quote before you proceed. Final lab pricing depends on media, failure type, and service level; RAID, server, and emergency work is case-by-case (call for details).
Working through us: if we collect media, travel, or spend time on hands-on packaging and coordination, we may add a small margin for that — always agreed with you before you commit, on top of whatever the lab quotes.

My computer won’t boot — is the data gone?
Not necessarily. The drive may be fine while Windows or macOS won’t start, or the disk may be failing. We help you work out which it is and the safest next step — sometimes that’s lab recovery, sometimes imaging or a simple repair.
Can you recover photos at home?
We can help with logical recovery and backups when the hardware is healthy. If the drive clicks, isn’t recognised, or was dropped, specialist lab work is usually the right route — we coordinate that so you’re not guessing alone.
How much will it cost?
It depends on failure type and capacity. Fields provide a free diagnostic and fixed-fee quote before you commit — we’ll set expectations beforehand so there are fewer surprises.
